Passcode: 897078
Starting Tomorrow at 1pm, we shall be gathering at Talacre for the first stage of Shore to Shore, which is a combination of a social walk, a pilgrimage (stopping to pray) and a litter pick. All are most welcome and you are entirely welcome to opt out of praying, or indeed join us just for that at the prayer points, details online (https://dioceseofstasaph.org.uk/shore-to-shore/ ). Over the course of six monday afternoons we shall progress along the North Coast ending in Llandudno, but you don't have to do it all. Public or private transport will be available to get us back to the start. Please bring your own gloves (for litter picking) and any covid masks etc, however bags and 'grabbers' will be available. Each walk should be completed by 4pm.
Weather’s Fine for a FAIR WEATHER FAIR!
We are launching a First in a Series of Fair Weather Fairs at Christ Church. Starting Saturday 31st July from 10am - 12pm.
If you've been wondering what to do with all the bric-a-brac you've been clearing out, or craft items you've been making, or unwanted plants you've potted up, then you have two options: at CHS there will soon be a 'Give and Take' Table, so that people can freely help themselves to anything left there, that they can make good use of; at Christ Church there will be a series of Fair Weather Fairs (starting Sat July 31st 10am - 12noon), raising much needed funds for the Friends of Christ Church. Do donate via the church of your choice. Thank you in advance.
Do start bringing to church any bric-a-brac, plants, crafts or other things that you can donate to be sold in aid of Friends of Christ Church
