The Second Sunday Of Lent.
Hi Folks.
I hope this finds you all safe and well. It's a sunny day, the birds are singing and there is hope. Today is the second Sunday of Lent and of course, tomorrow, March 1st, it's St. David's Day. Time is flying. Spring will shortly be upon us, so As spring fills our hearts with the first shoots of growth, birds singing and our earth waking up from it's Winter sleep, may we too wake up from our winter sleep and bring hope, positivity and change forward.
Today's service is "What Concerns God."
This Wednesday 3rd March, at 7.30pm, will be the second of the 'Tenants of the King' the Mission Area Lent Course sessions on Zoom followed by Wednesday 10th & 17th March again at 7:30 PM. Do let me know if you intend joining so that I can send you the published materials by email (they shall all go out on Tuesday). Here is the link for all of those meetings

Advanced Notice of Another Course:
'The Prayer Course 2: Unanswered Prayer' this has just been produced and published, so knowing how valued the first course was when we ran it a few years back, I jumped at the chance for us to do it. The course uses Holy Week (Wed - Sun) and each day there is a video (featuring Pete Grieg as before), an opportunity for discussion and a time to pray (however we are able). Due to other Diocesan and Mission Area services for Holy Week, the only time that was possible to be consistent each day was 4pm, so I hope that will suit a good number. Holy Week is a busy time, so I hope that you might agree that this is a worthwhile extra commitment. Do please let me know if you would like to take part. Additionally I shall be running a one session reminder/catch up of the first course on Wednesday 24th March (also at 4pm), which will be a whirlwind, but I thought that might be a helpful stepping stone for some.
